Birds of Fether Stick Together

Many of you might already be familiar with fashion designer Erin Fetherston due to her Target Holiday 2007 collection. Or perhaps you follow her creations on runways and fashion idols such as Zooey Deschannel or Kirsten Dunst. Regardless, I find her style very appealing. Her feminine silhouettes, soft fabrics and airy designs appeal to the romantic in me. And quite frankly, there is a lot of romantic in me. While looking through her website, I found her video projects to be most interesting. This propelled a more in depth search for other video projects. Arrivederci, Au Revoir, Adiós

Although it's still well above the 90s here in Central California, I am ready to officially wave goodbye to Summer. I know I have been ranting bucketfuls about my itching anticipation for Autumn, but I have also realized that I haven't paid proper tribute to the beautiful season that Summer is. I couldn't think of a better way to do so then to, for the last time, admire some beautiful Summer fashion. One of my favorites is the Summer 2009 collection entitled "Some Other Time" by Juliette Hogan, a New Zealand based fashion designer who creates magic when it comes to designing effortless, wearable, feminine pieces.

Le Cirque de Lumière

I'm typically drawn to romantic editorials, those in which the exposures are soft and the models radiate a more dreamy mood. But there is something about Le Cirque de Lumière; the vibrant colors, the scenic location and the electric style the model exudes grasped me at first sight. The elements work together harmoniously to produce another brilliant editorial by Denise Boomkens. You can find more pictures from the editorial here.

Adore la Doré

I couldn't help but falling in love with the beautiful women over at Garance Doré's blog. They are not only highly fashionable, but they make it seem so effortless as well.

My dreams have been erratic and inconsistent lately. They usually are but I've been dreaming every single night and mostly remembering them which is not a very usual situation. Have you ever been dreaming and you see a dress, shirt, purse, etc. that you have never seen before? I have. This surely means that you have designed it all by yourself, while sleeping! It's quite peculiar to think that a fashion imagination works while you're asleep. It almost seems like I have a better sense of fashion when I'm dreaming. Oh, geez. C'est la vie, c'est la vie.
