A Half Of Me

Monday, September 14, 2009

Sunday I went to an outdoor mall where dozens of stands were set up where you could find everything from food to jewelry to freebies. Music blared, delicious smells from the food stands circulated the walkways and people laughed and generally had a good time. The atmosphere brought me back to my visits of Mexico. My family and I usually go every December but we doubt we'll be going this upcoming December, a fact that makes me a bit sad because I was really looking forward to going this year (especially because I have a Canon Rebel now). So it was definitely nice to get a little dose of the experience so close to home. It's moments like these that make me so proud to be able to say that I am half Mexican.

For lunch I really enjoyed a veggie burrito with loads of límon y salsa.

I love outdoor stands! I think it's so much more fun than going to the mall. They always have more character! And you look very pretty in the pictures :)
