The Bohemian Couture

Thursday, September 3, 2009

The Vogue Italia September 1998 editorial by Peter Lindbergh radiates an almost Gothic vibe. There is something magnificent about the location- almost as if it were capable of revealing a story on its own. The gritty black and white and forest green shades create a flawless medium between the location and the nymph-like models.

I think grit and glamour are a great combination. The frilly skirt photos are wonderfully creepy and tragic.

I like how the pictures are a bit spooky and haunting at the same time, especially the first two pictures.

The dirty feet and tattered ruffles is my kind of glamour. Vogue never fails. Bewitching little creatures for sure.

I love the photo with all of the tulle! It is so textured and stunning!
