Inspiration in Black & White

Thursday, July 16, 2009

If you take a good look at these four pictures you might just find a fashion mogul, an iconic actress, a legendary pianist and vocalist, and an accredited poet and author. I, however, see so much more. These four women have all, in one way or another, illuminated the essence of being a woman: the beauty, the pain, the hope and the downfalls. They all embodied a certain aura that makes me shiver at the genius they possessed/posses. Whether they are resting in peace or are still out in the world making their mark, these four women are my truest idols.
