A couple weeks ago, a dear friend sent me a video of a ritual perfomed in Thailand. I decided to research a bit and found that this festival of lights is called precisely that, Festival of Lights or
Loi Krathrong. The cermeony is held on the 24th of November when a group of people write their prayers and release them into the night sky. The ceremony is quite breathtaking and it makes me excited to think that one day I will hopefully be there, amidst elated people, ready to release my prayers to the stars and take part in such a magical experience.
